His parents present him an electric guitar and a bass: Nicola doesn’t waste time and ventures upon these new instruments, pointing out his natural aptitude for the music. From 1998 he records his first songs on a digital recorder DMT8 with 8 tracks and while the time is passing takes shape a real professional digital studio recording in a part of his farmhouse in the National Park of the Casentino Forests, dipped in the tuscan nature. In this world apart renamed Elfland he composes his first songs discovering the natural inclination to the English Pop/Rock. Nicola tries to create a
group, but his wish of
proposing his music rather then covers isn’t shared by his fellows of the moment, so he is compelled to return in studio where he learns to play the drums and composes his
first 8 songs that will give life to Float Up Stream, his first album. With his father’s help
(his “button presser technician”) he completely and freely dedicates
to the ideation of his works and applies himself to the importance of the silence and of the loneliness as creative
choice. He composes classical piece as Dipper, andante for three instruments and Fantasia In Dissonanza for strings quartet, performed by the students of the Conservatory of Fiesole. |
